Overview
iGas is a fast-growing and global leader in the HVAC refrigerant industry. We are seeking a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Specialist located in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for driving growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage all processes related to the research and acquisition of inventory
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
- Work closely with Purchasing, Operations, Sourcing, Sales and Customer Service on obsolescence-related policies and procedures
- Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management
- Obtain & provide competitive cost, best service quotes for domestic and international shipments
- Arrange and manage transport during the routing tanks and/or containers shipped internationally through all available transport methods
- Coordinate with the warehouses the loading export cargo and/or unloading import cargo's transportation
- Track freight costs to actual charges and report to management
Requirements
- Must be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- 1+ years of inventory ERP & data entry systems
- Logistics & OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) work experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Comprehensive understanding, know-how of national / international entry/exit procedures, documentation & clearance requirements
- Problem solving, work independently or as part of a team, critical thinking, attention to detail, organizational, budget & procurement management skills
