iGas USA is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and performing hands-on repairs and upkeep to ensure that all facilities operate efficiently and safely. This role requires technical proficiency in general maintenance, and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Technical, vocational training or certifications and licenses preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in general maintenance or facility repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Broad knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical)
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical ability
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, safety regulations, and compliance standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve standing, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces

Requirements

  • Supervise and schedule a team of maintenance staff
  • Assign work orders, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completely safely, on time and to quality standards
  • Perform general handyman tasks
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party services, including contract negotiations, to ensure timely and cost-effective support
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify and assess maintenance needs
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and documents
  • Manage maintenance inventory, tools, supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
  • Escalate and address any operational or safety issues promptly to minimize business impact
